FAQs
Good questions, straight answers
The national ones live here; each city and occasion page answers its own local questions too.
What exactly is hosted VR event hire?
We deliver VR sports stations to your venue, build them in about an hour, and a trained host runs the whole event — teaching guests, managing rotations, keeping the leaderboard honest and packing down afterwards. It's an event with an outcome, not a box of headsets.
Where in the UK do you cover?
Nationwide. We have dedicated pages for twelve cities — London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bristol, Nottingham and Southampton — and travel well beyond them, with mileage itemised plainly on the quote.
How much does it cost?
Evenings from £395, corporate half-days from £1,250, full-day branded activations from £2,450. We're the rare UK operator that publishes prices — the full rate card is on the pricing page, and our cost guide compares the whole market.
How much space and power do you need?
One station runs in a cleared 3m × 3m space off a single 13-amp socket. A full four-station tournament wants about 8m × 6m. Offices, hotels, marquees and exhibition stands all work — our space and power guide has the details.
Do guests need gaming experience?
None. The controls are natural movements — swing, steer, draw, helm — taught by the host in thirty seconds. Mixed-ability groups are the point: leaderboards regularly crown people who'd never touched VR before the event.
What about guests who wear glasses, or accessibility needs?
Headsets fit over most glasses, seated play works for the majority of experiences, and hosts adapt formats so nobody's excluded. Tell us what your group needs and we'll plan for it rather than around it.
Is the equipment hygienic between users?
Yes — headsets are wiped down and face interfaces refreshed between every guest, built into the host's rhythm as standard rather than sold as an extra.
Are you insured?
Fully — public liability cover with certificates and risk assessments supplied to your venue on request. Facilities teams get everything they need before the day.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to three weeks for most dates. December is different everywhere: party-season Fridays start selling out from September, so Christmas events reward booking by October.
What happens if the tech fails on the day?
We carry spares and the host swaps kit in minutes — redundancy is part of hosted hire. In the unlikely event we ever had to cancel on you, you'd get a full refund; it hasn't happened yet and we plan to keep it that way.
