VR Hire Bradford

A restored 1930s picture palace seating three thousand, a UNESCO mill village up the valley, and a media museum with two cinemas for hire. Bradford's event rooms have improved out of all recognition — and we bring hosted VR sports to every one of them.

Local knowledge

We know Bradford's venues

The headline change is Bradford Live, the £50m restoration of the old Odeon, now seating well over three thousand and running a full programme. Alongside it the National Science and Media Museum hires Pictureville and the Cubby Broccoli cinema off City Park, and up the Aire valley Victoria Hall in Saltaire offers five rooms inside a Grade II* hall in a UNESCO World Heritage village — one of the most distinctive event settings in the north, and considerably easier to load into than its age suggests.

The practical thing to know is the Clean Air Zone. Bradford runs a Class C scheme across the city that charges non-compliant diesel vans daily, and it covers the routes to most of the venues above. Ours all meet the standard, so that daily charge never reaches your invoice — but it's the reason some suppliers quietly price Bradford higher, and worth asking about if you're comparing. Out at Cedar Court by the M606 the parking is generous and the Cedar Suite takes 800.

Travel & booking

The practical bit

Travel

Travel across Bradford is included, Clean Air Zone and all. Valley routes to Saltaire and Keighley are planned rather than improvised, and the M606 corridor venues offer some of the easiest load-ins in West Yorkshire.

Booking

The diary here stays more open than Leeds', which makes Bradford a genuine fallback once Leeds' December has sold out. Reckon on six weeks for a December Friday, two for most other dates.

Bradford FAQs

Good questions, straight answers

Does Bradford's Clean Air Zone appear on our bill?
It doesn't. Bradford's Class C scheme bills non-compliant diesel vans every day and blankets the roads to most venues here. Ours are compliant. When a rival's Bradford quote comes back mysteriously high, this is usually the reason.
Can you run an event at Bradford Live?
Yes — it's a superb room and now fully operational after a long restoration. We coordinate access and power with the venue team; a big auditorium suits a spectator-heavy format like a finals-night tournament very well.
What about Saltaire — is a listed building workable?
Victoria Hall is one of our favourite settings in Yorkshire. We check stair access and door widths when you book and protect floors properly. A UNESCO World Heritage village makes a rather good backdrop for a company photo.
Do you cover Halifax, Huddersfield and Keighley?
All of them, plus Ilkley, Shipley and Skipton, with mileage itemised before you book. The Aire and Calder valleys are straightforward runs for us.
How much notice does a Bradford date need?
Two weeks covers most of the year. December Fridays want six, and anything at Bradford Live works to the venue's own programme, so flexible dates help there.
