VR Hire Exeter
An 825-seat conference suite at junction 30 of the M5, a cathedral with six hireable spaces, and a country house in university parkland. Exeter anchors the South West and gets served far less often than it should.
We know Exeter's venues
The historic core is bollard-controlled and pedestrianised, and the city genuinely runs on Park & Ride rather than expecting you to find a space. The pinch points are the Exe Bridges gyratory and junctions 29 and 30 of the M5, both of which reward local timing. It's a compact city and none of this is difficult — it simply needs someone who has done it before rather than someone reading a postcode into a satnav.
Sandy Park does most of the heavy lifting: the Exeter Suite seats 825 theatre-style with a Marriott attached, and it sits at junction 30 rather than in the city, which means parking and level access. Chiefs match days block it entirely, so those get checked first. In the centre, RAMM's Grade II galleries take receptions to 500 and the Corn Exchange offers a 500-capacity auditorium — both of them inside the bollards, both perfectly workable with the right window.

Rooms we work in around Exeter and Devon. Sandy Park sits at the motorway junction rather than in the city, and Chiefs fixtures close it entirely — both worth factoring in.
What we bring to Exeter events
Fleet racing for a county that sails properly; expect the estuary crowd to be quietly ruthless.
Explore VR Sailing →Devon's field sport indoors — country-house away days ask for this one first.
Explore VR Clay Shooting →Team rounds and a final; the Exeter Suite has the floor for a full four-station build.

Travel
Exeter and the immediate area have travel included, with wider Devon itemised plainly. City-centre bookings get a loading window inside the bollarded core, and Sandy Park jobs get checked against the rugby calendar.
Booking
One of the more open diaries we keep, which is what being underserved looks like. Six weeks for December, though the remainder of the year the South West has genuine availability.
