VR Hire Plymouth
An arena taking four thousand standing, a football ground running events around the clock, and a Georgian naval yard on the water. Plymouth is the most underserved events city of its size in England, and we'd like to change that.
We know Plymouth's venues
Let's be straight about geography, because most suppliers aren't: Plymouth is roughly forty miles of A38 beyond the end of the M5 at Exeter. Add an hour to whatever a satnav suggests, and if you're approaching from Cornwall the Tamar Bridge tolls eastbound. That distance is exactly why this city gets offered so little, and why we quote it as a real journey rather than pretending it's a Bristol day trip.
The venues themselves are strong. Plymouth Pavilions handles arena-scale events and banquets to 700, Home Park runs event space around the clock for up to 550, and The Box sits centrally near the station. Royal William Yard is the distinctive one — waterfront Georgian naval buildings, though the spaces there are smaller at around a hundred and the access runs through a historic yard on cobbles, which needs planning rather than optimism.
Arena to 4,000 standing, banquets to 700
Plymouth Argyle, event space to 550 guests
Museum and gallery, central, near the station
Royal William Yard waterfront space to 100
Seven meeting rooms to 500, Hoe views
Derriford and Langage floors take a full build
Rooms we work in around Plymouth and south-west Devon. Royal William Yard's spaces are smaller and reached over cobbles through a historic naval yard — lovely, and worth an access conversation first.

Travel
Plymouth travel is quoted as the genuine journey it is — forty miles beyond the motorway network — rather than folded into a vague South West rate. Waterfront and naval-yard venues get an access plan before anything is confirmed.
Booking
Availability here is better than almost anywhere we cover, simply because so few suppliers make the trip. Give us three or four weeks and most dates are yours.
