Vicarage Road is the awkward one. The stadium sits in a tight residential grid immediately beside Watford General Hospital, so on-site parking is minimal and match-day closures affect both at once. For anything there we agree the drop point early and work to a narrow window. Everywhere else in the town is markedly easier, and being outside the ULEZ boundary means a van costs nothing extra here that it would a few miles south.
The two standout venues both carry a Watford address without being in the town. The Grove sits at Chandler's Cross in a 300-acre estate, and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour at Leavesden hires privately — though only out of hours, around the tour's operating times, which shapes what's possible. The Colosseum in town covers the range from 36 to 1,400 across the Forum and Main Hall, which is a genuinely useful spread for one building.
