VR Hire Bath

A World Heritage city whose function rooms would be a hotel's entire selling point elsewhere. Our hosted VR sports run in Bath's Georgian salons, up at the hilltop racecourse and across its business floors — with every access question settled before the van sets off.

Local knowledge

We know Bath's venues

Bath is a beautiful logistics problem and we treat it as one. The Georgian street grid leaves very little kerbside loading room, the central Class C Clean Air Zone charges non-compliant vans around £9 a day, and the loveliest rooms in the city tend to be up a listed staircase rather than behind a goods lift. All three are handled before your date: compliant vehicles, an agreed drop point, and flight cases split for stairs where there's no other way up.

Above the city the calculus changes completely. Bath Racecourse on Lansdown gives us a hilltop site with room to build four stations and park a van without negotiating, and the American Museum out at Claverton Manor offers the same ease with better views. For anything in the middle — the Pump Room, the Guildhall's Banqueting Room — we work to the building's rules and the setup still lands inside the hour. Worth noting the Assembly Rooms are closed for restoration until 2027, so they're off the table wherever you read otherwise.

Travel & booking

The practical bit

Travel

Travel within Bath is included, Clean Air Zone included with it. Every central booking gets an access plan first — drop point, route in, stairs or lift — because in this city that conversation is the difference between a calm setup and a memorable one.

Booking

Bath's tourist calendar squeezes hotel space more than event space, so dates are usually gettable. December Fridays and the Christmas Market fortnight are the exceptions worth booking a month or more ahead.

Bath FAQs

Good questions, straight answers

Does Bath's Clean Air Zone cost us anything?
No. The central Class C zone charges non-compliant vans around £9 a day, but ours meet the standard. It's a compliance question for us and an invisible one for you.
Can you set up in a listed Georgian building with no lift?
Yes, and it's a good share of our work here. When you book we'll ask about stair widths, doorways and floor protection, then break the kit down small enough to carry and add the extra minutes to the schedule. These rooms repay that effort.
Where can the van actually stop?
That's the real Bath question and we answer it in advance with your venue. Central kerbside space is scarce, so we agree a drop point, wheel the cases the last stretch, and park legally elsewhere for the duration.
Are the Assembly Rooms bookable?
Not currently — they're closed for restoration and aren't expected back until 2027, despite plenty of listings still suggesting otherwise. We'll happily suggest alternatives with a similar feel.
Do you cover the wider valley and into Wiltshire?
Yes — Trowbridge, Frome, Chippenham and the Somerset villages are all comfortable, and Bristol is twenty minutes away. Mileage past the city boundary is itemised before you commit.
