We know Brighton's venues

The city's own calendar is the main obstacle. Pride on the first weekend of August, the marathon, and the London-to-Brighton runs each close the seafront and central streets on set dates — and when Brighton closes a road it does so thoroughly. We check your date against all of them before quoting. The other seasonal reality is parking, which is scarce and expensive year-round and worse from May onwards, so drop points get agreed rather than assumed.

The venues justify the effort. The Brighton Centre handles 400 to 4,500 delegates on the seafront, the Dome and Corn Exchange offer Regency rooms for up to 1,700, and the Metropole is the largest residential conference hotel on the south coast. Out at Falmer, the Amex has ten lounges and its own station, though it operates a strict no-parking policy on event days — a park-and-ride arrangement that catches out suppliers expecting to pull up outside.

Rooms we work in across Brighton and Hove. The racecourse up on the hill has the parking the seafront can't offer, which for a large build makes it quietly the easiest option. The Amex has its own railway station at Falmer, which is the single most useful fact about it — a guest list can arrive from London and from Brighton alike without either half needing a car.
