VR Hire Brighton

Five thousand square metres of seafront exhibition space, a Regency dome that has hosted everything, and a stadium with its own railway station. Brighton runs more events per square mile than anywhere south of London.

Local knowledge

We know Brighton's venues

The city's own calendar is the main obstacle. Pride on the first weekend of August, the marathon, and the London-to-Brighton runs each close the seafront and central streets on set dates — and when Brighton closes a road it does so thoroughly. We check your date against all of them before quoting. The other seasonal reality is parking, which is scarce and expensive year-round and worse from May onwards, so drop points get agreed rather than assumed.

The venues justify the effort. The Brighton Centre handles 400 to 4,500 delegates on the seafront, the Dome and Corn Exchange offer Regency rooms for up to 1,700, and the Metropole is the largest residential conference hotel on the south coast. Out at Falmer, the Amex has ten lounges and its own station, though it operates a strict no-parking policy on event days — a park-and-ride arrangement that catches out suppliers expecting to pull up outside.

New England Quarter and Hove floors fit us

Rooms we work in across Brighton and Hove. The racecourse up on the hill has the parking the seafront can't offer, which for a large build makes it quietly the easiest option.

Travel & booking

The practical bit

Travel

Brighton and Hove comes with travel covered. Every quote is checked against the city's event calendar first, and seafront jobs get a drop point agreed rather than a hopeful search for a space.

Booking

Conference season, the summer event calendar and December all compete for the same rooms. Six weeks is the safe margin for anything in those windows; January and February are excellent value.

Brighton FAQs

Good questions, straight answers

Which dates should we avoid?
Pride weekend in early August, the marathon, and the London-to-Brighton run dates. Each closes the seafront and central streets outright. We check all of them against your date before a quote goes out.
What's the parking situation for your van?
Difficult, honestly — Brighton parking is scarce and expensive, and worse in summer. We agree a drop point with your venue, unload, then park properly elsewhere. At the Amex there's a strict no-parking policy on event days, which we plan around specifically.
Can you build inside the Brighton Centre?
Yes — it's a hall built for trade shows, docks and all and power, and their team deal with suppliers constantly. A four-station tournament fits without troubling the floor plan.
Is the racecourse a serious option?
It's quietly the easiest large venue in the city: 18 suites, a hall for 650 and around a thousand parking spaces, all up the hill and away from the seafront congestion.
How far along the coast do you travel?
Worthing, Shoreham, Lewes, Burgess Hill and along to Eastbourne are all standard runs, with travel costs stated plainly on the quote.
