VR Hire Portsmouth
Events aboard a Victorian warship, in a 170-metre tower above the harbour, or in a Guildhall auditorium that has seen everything. Portsmouth's venue list is like nowhere else in England — and we bring hosted VR sailing, golf and tournaments to it.
We know Portsmouth's venues
Portsmouth sits on Portsea Island, and that geography governs everything. Almost all traffic funnels through the M275 and the handful of island crossings, so a load-in that ignores rush hour on the motorway spur is a load-in that runs late. We plan around it. The good news on cost: the city's Clean Air Zone is Class B, which charges taxis, buses, coaches and HGVs but exempts cars and vans entirely — so nothing is added to your quote for working here.
The venues repay the effort. The Historic Dockyard hires the Boathouse auditorium, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose Museum, which is about as memorable a backdrop as a corporate event can have. The Spinnaker Tower takes up to 200 evening guests across viewing decks 170 metres up. For something more conventional, the Guildhall runs a main auditorium plus banqueting room, and the Village Hotel out at Lakeside North Harbour offers five meeting rooms and easy M27 parking.

Travel
Travel across Portsmouth is included, with the Clean Air Zone irrelevant to vans and the M275 timed around rather than trusted to. Island geography rewards planning, and it's planning we do before quoting rather than on the day.
Booking
December and the summer sailing calendar are the two busier stretches. A fortnight covers most dates; anything at the Historic Dockyard or the tower wants longer, as both work to their own visitor programmes.
