VR Hire Derby
Rail engineering, aero engines and a UNESCO mill valley — Derby's industrial history has left it with event rooms nobody expects. A restored railway roundhouse, a velodrome infield, and a Georgian silk mill on the Derwent. Hosted VR sports, delivered to all of them.
We know Derby's venues
Almost everything of scale sits in the Pride Park cluster east of the centre, and it's one of the easiest venue clusters in England to work. Derby Arena's velodrome infield takes several thousand, the football stadium runs eleven event spaces with 350 free parking places attached, and the county cricket ground is a few minutes further on. Level access, proper power, somewhere to leave a van — the unglamorous things that decide whether a setup hour is actually an hour.
The characterful rooms are elsewhere and worth the detour. The Roundhouse is a genuinely restored railway engine shed that scales from 25 to 2,500, and the Museum of Making occupies the Grade II listed Silk Mill on the Derwent, part of the UNESCO-designated Derwent Valley Mills. Derby also rejected a charging clean-air zone in favour of traffic-flow measures, so there's no daily fee anywhere — though the A52 Wyvern corridor that feeds Pride Park gets resurfaced and night-closed with some regularity, which we check before confirming a load-in.

Travel
Travel across Derby is included, and the Pride Park cluster makes most bookings unusually simple to service — park on site, roll the cases in, build. We check A52 works and match fixtures before confirming times.
Booking
Derby's diary is calmer than Nottingham's next door. Six weeks ahead for a December Friday; most other dates are comfortable on a fortnight, and county cricket weeks only affect venues on the ground itself.
