VR Hire Lancaster
An Edwardian civic hall taking 800 theatre-style, a standalone conference centre with eighteen meeting rooms three minutes from the M6, and an arts venue beside the castle. Lancaster is compact, historic and genuinely easy to work in.
We know Lancaster's venues
Nearly all access runs off junctions 33 or 34 of the M6, which keeps things simple — until you reach the medieval city grid, which is narrow, largely one-way, and crossed by only two bridges over the Lune. Those two, Greyhound and Skerton, run one-way in opposite directions, so getting from one bank to the other is a specific route rather than a turn. We plan it; it takes thirty seconds and saves considerably more.
Worth being straight about scale: Lancaster has no purpose-built exhibition hall, and the Ashton Hall in the Town Hall is the largest single room in the city at 800 theatre or 250 dining. For most corporate events that's ample. Lancaster House Hotel offers eighteen meeting rooms as a proper standalone conference centre near the motorway, and the university's twelve-plus campus venues take up to 600 during vacations.

Travel
Nothing is added for travel across Lancaster and north Lancashire. Access runs off M6 junctions 33 and 34, with the Lune crossing chosen deliberately — the two central bridges run one-way in opposite directions.
Booking
Graduation weeks plus December are the crunch weeks. Away from them Lancaster is open, and the university's vacation availability is the best-value large space in the north of the county.
