VR Hire York
A walled city with a racecourse on the Knavesmire, a national museum full of locomotives, and more listed function rooms per square mile than almost anywhere. Hosted VR golf, archery and tournaments — with York's vehicle restrictions planned around, not discovered.
We know York's venues
York's Footstreets are the single most important fact for anyone bringing equipment into this city. Between 10:30 and 17:00 all vehicles are banned from the historic core, including deliveries, and it's enforced by hostile-vehicle bollards rather than goodwill. That gives a simple rule: load in before half ten, or hold a specific dispensation. We work to the former, which means an early arrival and a setup finished long before your guests think about turning up.
Outside the walls it inverts completely. York Racecourse on the Knavesmire offers 650 delegates, 2,000 square metres of exhibition space and around 2,000 free parking spaces — one of the most supplier-friendly venues in the north. The National Railway Museum sits beside the station with six function rooms plus the Great Hall, and the LNER Community Stadium out at Monks Cross hires readily on non-matchdays. Between the walls and the ring road, there's a room here for any size of event.

Travel
Travel across York is included. Every booking inside the walls is scheduled around the 10:30 Footstreets cut-off, and market season gets an earlier slot again — this is a city where arriving late isn't a delay, it's a locked bollard.
Booking
Race meetings and the Christmas market are York's two squeezes, and both fill hotels before they fill venues. For December book by late October; race days are worth checking against the fixture card early.
