Why it works

The party fix for a market-season city

Beats braving the crowds

December in central Birmingham means a heaving market and booked-solid restaurants. The smart move is bringing the entertainment to your own floor and keeping the bratwurst as a warm-up act.

One format, every colleague

From the graduate intake to the senior partners, everyone swings, steers and scores on the same board. It's the rare party activity that needs no volunteers and takes no prisoners.

A finale worth staying for

Most office parties fade out. Ours ends with a final on the big screen, a podium, and a champion whose name will be misused in meetings until Easter.

The format

How a Birmingham VR Christmas party runs

An evening built around your catering and your crowd — stations open all night, showdown at the peak.

5:30 Build around the day's end

We route around market traffic, land the kit, and have stations plus spectator screen live inside the hour.

7:00 Rolling contest

Guests play in whatever order the bar allows. Golf and racing scores stack up; the leaderboard becomes the party's shared conversation.

9:15 The showdown

The four best face the big screen with everyone watching. Brummie neutrality lasts roughly eight seconds.

9:45 Podium & handover

Winners, medals, photos — then the music takes over and we vanish, kit and all, without interrupting a single chorus.

How it plays in Birmingham

Birmingham's December has a shape all of its own: the German Market swallows New Street and Victoria Square from early November, Broad Street's party venues fill with set-menu nights, and the professional firms along Colmore Row quietly move their celebrations in-house. That last group is our core Christmas crowd — a two-station takeover of the office, catering brought in, and the market saved for the stroll home.

For companies out on the business parks — Solihull, the M42 belt, the NEC orbit — the office party never had a city-centre option worth the coach anyway. We bring the venue-grade version to the park: full sports-day formats in the atrium, racing rigs in the boardroom, and a leaderboard final that gives even a beige break-out area a big-night feel. CAZ, load-in and market-season traffic all stay on our side of the ledger.

Birmingham FAQs

Asked before every booking

Do you deliver Christmas parties out to Solihull and the business parks?
Constantly — the M42 corridor is core ground with any mileage itemised up front. Park atriums and on-site conference suites make superb party rooms once there's a leaderboard in them.
Can we hold it at a hotel on Broad Street or in the Convention Quarter?
Yes — we work alongside the hotel's events team, fit our stations around their floor plan and dinner service, and time the finals between courses and dancefloor. Venues generally love us: we're quiet to build and we leave no mess.
Does market-season traffic ever delay setup?
Not on our watch — it's the first thing we plan for on November and December dates. Earlier bay slots and market-aware routes are booked as standard; the build hour stays an hour.
What's the right package for about 30 people?
The After-work party from £395 — one experience, host and leaderboard — keeps a 30-person floor entertained for a full evening. Step up to Party Night if you want two stations and the tournament finale.
How late can we leave booking a Birmingham December date?
Later than London, but not much: Fridays go by early November. Book six weeks out to choose your date rather than accept what's left — and January parties, a growing Birmingham habit, book easily all autumn.
