The split here is between motorway-side and town-centre, and they behave completely differently. The Brick Community Stadium at Robin Park and Leigh Sports Village both sit essentially on the M6 with free parking measured in thousands — for a supplier that's about as good as it gets. The town centre, by contrast, is pedestrianised with restricted vehicle access, so anything at the Old Courts or a central hotel needs a loading window rather than an assumption.
Two naming points save confusion. The stadium has been The Brick Community Stadium since 2024, after fifteen years as the DW and a decade as the JJB before that — so older listings are legion. And Haigh Hall, which people often suggest, is closed for a major restoration with planning approved in April 2026 and is not currently bookable. Macdonald Kilhey Court fills that country-house gap nicely with a purpose-built centre for 300.
