How the session runs
A working afternoon, upgraded — no venue booked, no transport arranged, no forecast checked.
Trolleys in, turf and stations rigged, screen tested — all while the team carries on. The only thing we borrow is a socket.
Scored turns in steady rotation, with walk-ups welcome between meetings. Nothing recruits like the sound of a near-miss on the big screen.
The four best scores face off while the floor abandons all pretence of working. An underdog wins more often than not.

How it plays in Southampton
Southampton's employers cluster oddly and we've built for most flavours: marine and cruise businesses around Ocean Village and the docks, the professional floors in the centre, Ordnance Survey-scale campuses at Adanac Park, and the research units up at Chilworth. Ground-floor estates are the easy days. Dockside offices bring gate passes and escort rules, and we handle that paperwork ourselves — send one security contact and the rest stops being your problem.
What the format does well here is stitch together teams that rarely meet: office staff, ops people and the colleagues who spend half the year elsewhere. Ninety-second turns mean nobody holds a headset hostage, scores post instantly, and by finals time the room has organised itself into factions no org chart predicted.
