Why VR

Team building London doesn't roll its eyes at

Skip the venue hunt

Central London venue hire is its own project. We turn your breakout floor into the venue — no minimum spend, no 6pm room turnover, no schlep across town.

Everyone competes as equals

The grad scheme and the partners' floor play the same shots. No fitness, height or gaming hours required — which is why the leaderboard produces such satisfying upsets.

Zero admin for the organiser

We arrive, build, host, score and pack down. Your job is booking a meeting room and accepting the credit afterwards.

The format

A two-hour office takeover

The standard London format — compressed enough to fit between stand-up and the 5:30 exodus, structured enough to feel like a proper tournament.

0:00 Arrival & build

We're through your loading bay and building 2–4 stations while your team finishes their calls. No IT tickets, no venue liaison — we've already done both.

0:60 Qualifying rounds

Teams rotate through golf, racing and archery in short turns. Every score posts to the leaderboard, and the floor starts gathering behind whoever's leading.

1:45 The finals

Top four go head-to-head on the spectator screen. This is the bit people film — and the bit the fifth-placed team disputes for weeks.

2:00 Podium & pack-down

Medals, photos, a champion crowned. We're packed and gone before the cleaners arrive; the trash talk stays on your Slack.

How it plays in London

London teams are the hardest crowd in Britain to impress — they've done the escape rooms, the axe throwing, the rooftop crazy golf. What they haven't done is watch the head of compliance drive St Andrews' 18th on a big screen while the whole floor heckles. Running it in your own building matters here more than anywhere: no 45-minute Tube relocation eating the afternoon, no one peeling off at the venue door, and hybrid colleagues can time their office day around it.

We deliver across every commercial postcode — City towers, Canary Wharf estates, West End agencies, the Shoreditch-to-King's Cross tech belt — with flight-cased kit that rides standard goods lifts. Building management formalities (loading bay, permits, passes) are handled before the day. Thursday afternoons are London's favourite slot: energy's still high, and the leaderboard argument continues at the pub you were going to anyway.

London FAQs

Asked before every booking

Our meeting rooms are small — can it still work?
Almost always. One station needs a cleared 3m × 3m, so two eight-person meeting rooms side by side, or a corner of the breakout area, is plenty for a rotation format. Send a photo of the space and we'll confirm the layout same-day.
Can colleagues from our other offices or home join in?
The playing happens in person, but scores don't have to stop at one floor — split-site firms run the same event in each office on different days and settle it on one combined leaderboard. Remote colleagues make excellent hecklers on the video call to the spectator screen.
How does team scoring actually work?
We draft teams (or take your org-chart grudge matches), every player's rounds score points, and totals build on the master leaderboard. Nobody carries a team alone and nobody hides — that's the design.
What does it cost per head for a typical London group?
The Office Takeover at 40 colleagues works out around £22 a head — less than a round of drinks in EC2, and it includes the host, kit, leaderboards and travel. Larger groups bring the per-head down further.
Can we run it after work instead of during?
Yes — 5pm starts are popular with London firms. We build quietly from 4pm, run rounds till 7, and the finals crowd usually carries straight on to the nearest bar with the champions buying.
